By the ocean

What an exciting journey to continue my path now framed by the ocean! Welcome to my first blog, friends. And welcome to those of you who are soon to be my blogging friends!

Our good friend Jon was knitting together all the how to’s, passwords, colours, pictures and philosophical nuggets, to make the magic of this moment happen! He drove all the way from West Vancouver escaping a two-car accident caused by the slithery road as winter default signs are still marking their territory, forcing the spring season to remain semi-dormant.

But here in our home today, we had the four seasons happening in just a few hours of a creative day journey. A good thought that was put on winter’s pause so we could ponder it in our hearts -...maybe after all, time exists...and it’s even needed...?- An idea that broke through our souls and minds as it hung in its zenith convincing us of its ripeness. Pure summer in its climax! Fall? Yes, there was space for this melancholic season to clean our minds. We went through some moments of discarding ideas that seemed to be just so good, only to show us after some heartstorming that they were not exactly what was needed then. A good shower to shake off the dead cells. And without a doubt, spring was flourishing all through those overlapping seasons! Moment by moment, threading through what it felt like an infinite happenings of ¨nows¨. Non stop blooming was birthing for seven hours!

The atmosphere of our home and our lap top screens were bouncing back ideas on each other and our souls were caught in the midst of that dance! Lovely playful art between left and right brains, between skills and intuition while the snow was quietly and actively falling down outside our windows. And when Jon left, triggered by his youngest son´s text sharing his today´s great school report card and his wish to get back home before the hibernation stage of this day showed up by covering us all with the dark blanket of the night, Dennis and I tuned up with his radiant smile, waving him good bye. Hasta la vista amigo!

Magic in plain sight! A succession of miracles in display! Jon is now gone and the seeds he watered in us have been already germinating. In fact, as soon as he finished setting my blogging site and while he was working on Dennis´ site for poetry and art, almost immediately really, I had started typing. I could hear these big boys going through the by then known to me process, but I didn’t want to listen. My almost full attention was captured by my fingers and the screen. And by you, the ¨listener¨.  My friend. The one who would somehow interact with my shared experience, as it might provoke resonance and a wide variety of responses in you. A fertile ground that fosters expansion and wisdom for all of us. Collaborative community!

My heart and soul were just waiting for the proper channel to flow. The dam gates were opened, and the waters knew where to go.  And nothing stopped them.

Now our dining room is still echoing Jon´s voice, Dennis´ inputs and my happy “ok´s¨.

Four seasons, and blooming, harvest, pruning and hibernation, all happening simultaneously through the 420 minutes Life invited us to be together. By the ocean. The ocean that contains salty water and clouds, and rain and rivers and deltas. The ocean that contains bloggers, readers, listeners and active audience contributing back to the flow of the blog. All seeking the truth ... by the ocean. The ocean of Life.

Blessings!
